OUR TREATMENTS
Pulse reading involves assessing a patient's overall health and diagnosing imbalances by feeling the quality, rhythm, and strength of the radial pulse at various positions on the wrist. Different pulse characteristics correspond to specific organ systems and can provide insights into the body's energy and health status, guiding treatment strategies.
Chinese herbal medicine is a natural, holistic approach using diverse organic plants to promote the healing of complex health problems. Our practitioners are highly trained in the use of Chinese herbs and can create customised formulas tailored to your individual needs.
Acupuncture is the key physiotherapy in traditional Chinese medicine, and has been used for thousands of years to promote recovery in the unwell body. It involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body. This can help to relieve pain, and open up any blockage of ''Qi'' (vital energy) and blood in the body, thus improving the organs' function and enhancing the recovery of the organs. 
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese therapy that involves the burning of dried mugwort (a kind of herb) near specific points on the body. This therapy helps to stimulate circulation, reduce pain, and regulate imbalanced hormones. It is good for complex and long-running diseases, such as fibroids and benign tumours as the moxibustion can reach body tissues deeper. 
Cupping therapy involves the use of heated cups to create vacuums on the skin. This could also comfort and relax the body by alleviating muscle tension.
We do not offer massage at Reishi Clinic, as it is not a curative treatment. Our focus is on providing therapies that actively address the root causes of health concerns for lasting results. 

However, we offer Tui Na for infants and children under 10 years old. Children's illnesses often involve the respiratory and digestive systems, and because their circulation is faster, there is no need for acupuncture or herbal medicine. Tui Na effectively helps eliminate toxins, including viruses and bacteria, through gentle manipulation. The younger the child, the more effective Tui Na will be.
